I've always been drawn to the arts, like ceramics and photography, and to crafts like soap and candle making, as well as crocheting. It was by chance that I fell into floral design while living in San Francisco, where I met my husband. During and after my formal training I was given the opportunity to work with amazing artists and designers in outstanding flower houses who continue to inspire me. I have designed florals for numerous weddings and events in San Francisco including Bouquet to Arts, The Legion of Honor, and the Mark Hopkins Hotel as well as a fundraising event for Yale University and a filming of Dinner:Impossible. My style blends the elegance of classical European design with Eastern and modern aesthetics creating beautifully detailed and unique floral arrangements and events.

It was around my second wedding anniversary when I really began wishing I still had my bridal bouquet. This is what led me to silk flowers, and what I truly treasure - being able to create unique, beautiful, and memorable bridal flowers that can be cherished for a lifetime, that can be brought out on special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries, that can bring cheer when we are down, that help us remember when we are feeling sentimental.

And it is that same feeling of sentiment that attracts me to finding other treasures at flea markets and fairs. Items from the past with all their stories and history being brought back to life in the hands of a new owner. I hope you enjoy poking around my Etsy shop.
